54T steel spur gear for the center differential on selected Traxxas models. The gear uses 0.8 metric pitch and is also compatible with 32-pitch pinion gear setups, making it suitable when the gear ratio needs adjustment.

A spur gear transfers power from the motor pinion gear through the drivetrain. Changing the gearing allows you to fine-tune how the RC car responds under different driving conditions.

Fewer teeth on the spur gear can increase top speed, while more teeth typically improve acceleration. On the motor pinion gear, the effect is reversed: more teeth increase top speed, while fewer teeth improve acceleration.
