Hvis batteriet ligger i lang tid uden strøm, kan det komme meget langt ned i volt og så kan nogen opladere ikke måle volten i batteriet. Det betyder at det ikke starter opladning.
Dette kan afhjælpes med en bedre oplader eller at vedligeholde batteriet, ved at oplade det 1. gang om måneden.
