RPM solved this by eliminating the hole, replacing it with a solid flat surface made of RPM's engineering-grade nylon. The entire mount is curved to add flexibility in the event of a crash while keeping the wing securely in place during normal driving.

The RPM81642 wing mount is compatible with several ARRMA 1/8 models but is not suitable for the Typhon V3 or later versions. This set includes only the support bars and requires the use of stock ARRMA cross braces, wing, and mounting hardware.
