This LED program box works with the following Hobbywing series:

• Aircraft/heli ESCs:

• XeRun series (not all models – for some, the LCD Program Box is recommended)
• EzRun series
• QuicRun series

• Boat ESCs:

• SeaKing series

How to connect the program box

• Connect the receiver plug from your Hobbywing ESC to the program box
• On some ESCs you can also use the fan port – depends on the model
• Alternatively, you can connect a separate battery (4.8–8.4V) if the ESC does not supply BEC voltage

A connector is also included for you to use for connection.

These settings you can adjust

With this LED program box you get access to all the important driving and safety settings on your Hobbywing ESC. Among other things, you can set:

• Running mode:

• Forward, forward/brake, forward/brake/reverse (depending on ESC model)

• Drag brake force:

• How much the motor “brakes” automatically when you release the throttle

• LiPo cut-off:

• Voltage protection for LiPo batteries so they are not discharged too deeply

• Start mode (Punch):

• How aggressive the acceleration should be from standstill

• Brake force:

• 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% or no brake

• Reverse force:

• How strong the reverse function should be

• Initial brake force:

• Initial braking force when you first start to apply the brake

• Neutral force:

• Adjustment of the neutral range on the throttle

• Timing:

• Motor timing for fine-tuning performance and efficiency

• Overheat protection:

• Overheating protection to safeguard the ESC from damage
