Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to correctly connect your ESC:

1.Identify Components: Familiarize yourself with the ESC's connectors. You will typically find:

• Power Input: Red and black wires with a red JST connector for the battery.
• Motor Output: Two wires (often red and black) for connecting to the brush motor.
• Signal Input: A 3-pin connector (usually black, red, white/orange) for connecting to the receiver's throttle channel.
• Power Switch: A small black switch to turn the ESC on/off.

2.Connect to Motor: Connect the two motor output wires from the ESC to your brush motor. Polarity usually doesn't matter for brush motors, but if the motor spins in the wrong direction, you can reverse these two wires.

3.Connect to Receiver: Plug the 3-pin signal input connector from the ESC into the throttle channel (usually Channel 2) of your RC receiver. Ensure the polarity is correct (signal, positive, negative).

4.Connect to Battery: Connect your battery (Li-Po 2S or Ni-Mh/Ni-Cd 4-7 cell) to the power input connector of the ESC. Ensure correct polarity (red to positive, black to negative).

 5.Initial Test: Before full operation, test the ESC with a low current to ensure proper operation. Turn on your RC transmitter, then turn on the ESC using its power switch. The motor should not spin until throttle input is given.

Operating Instructions

Once the ESC is correctly installed and connected, follow these steps for operation:

1.Power On: Ensure your RC transmitter is turned on first. Then, switch on the ESC using the integrated power switch

 2.Throttle Control: Use the throttle stick on your transmitter to control the motor speed. Moving the stick forward will typically engage forward motion, and pulling it back will engage reverse or brake, depending on the ESC's setting.

3.Function Selection: The ESC supports forward, reverse, and brake functions. The specific behavior (e.g., immediate reverse or brake before reverse) is pre-configured.

4.Voltage Range: Ensure your battery voltage remains within the specified working range of 3.0V to 9.4V during operation. Operating outside this range can damage the ESC or battery.

5.Power Off: Always turn off the ESC first, then turn off your RC transmitter. Disconnect the battery from the ESC when not in use.
