With this set, you can control both coupling and uncoupling of the trailer as well as the movement of the support legs directly from your transmitter – just like on a real truck.

Tamiya 56505 is developed specifically for Tamiya’s 1/14 RC trucks and trailers and allows you to raise and lower the support legs electrically, so you can connect and disconnect the trailer without touching the model with your hands. This increases realism, driving enjoyment, and the practical use of your truck/trailer combination.

Function and use

With this set, you can use R/C commands to:

• Control coupling/uncoupling at the hitch (with a separate servo)
• Drive the support legs up and down with the included electric motor
• Perform realistic loading and unloading sequences, where the truck drives away from the trailer while it stands on its own support legs

The support legs are driven by a motor with integrated mechanics and micro switches, so the movement stops correctly at the top and bottom positions. This provides stable and safe operation without overload.
