1/10 Holiday Buggy 2010 (DT-02)
Tamiya 1/10 Holiday Buggy 2010 (DT-02) is a re-release of one of Tamiya’s classic R/C buggies from the 1970s. It combines the nostalgic Holiday Buggy styling with the proven DT-02 chassis, giving you a build-it-yourself R/C car with a classic look and a modern, user-friendly platform.
The DT-02 chassis is a simple and durable 2WD design, well suited to both new R/C drivers and hobbyists looking for an easy-to-maintain buggy. Its straightforward construction makes the car manageable to assemble, service and understand, while also offering a great introduction to Tamiya assembly kits.
The battery is positioned centrally in the bathtub frame, helping to provide balanced weight distribution and predictable handling. Combined with independent double wishbone suspension on all four wheels, the Holiday Buggy delivers agile and controlled driving performance, even when the surface is uneven.
The model is supplied as an assembly kit and must be completed with the required electronics before use. Radio system, receiver, servo, battery and charger are not included and must be purchased separately before the car can be driven.
If you want to install a regular 540 motor, you will also need a 17T pinion gear, 3mm grub screw and motor plate. This allows the setup to be adapted correctly, but it is important to have the proper parts ready before starting the motor installation.
